As we open our eyes to the warm summer sun, here at Ardea Arts we also open our eyes to some new beginnings…
- July 1st marks the start of our new fiscal year. And do you know what? We already have an amazing head start! Thank you so much for managing to squeeze us into your budgets. We greatly appreciate the donations that we have, already, received!
- This summer also brings back some old traditions. We will, hopefully, be hosting our annual Opera BBQ, within the next few months. More details to come!
- Sadly, our new beginnings don’t include two old friends. Our current Managing Director, Shelley Laabs Weber, and our Intern, Danielle Cammarata will soon be moving on. Shelley will continue her Management career in a different city with her new husband. And Danielle will just be beginning her Management career, here in NYC.
- On a more hopeful note, FOI now has an internship opening! We look forward to finding a new artist to join our family.
- And perhaps the most exciting news – Family Opera Initiative has been chosen for the Opera America Sampler! In June, we will introduce LA to our very own Animal Tales. Wish us luck on this new adventure!
